Not surprising at all. I was on a student government committee that dealt with giving out money for student organization. Spectrum (one of the LGBT organizations on LSU campus) woulf always come wanting money for some kind of gay thing. When we would deny their request because they didn't accurately represent their attendance figures and other reasons. They would come to the appeal and pack the room with gay people and they had one prof that was their sponsor. He would just try to make us feel pressured into giving in. They were the most annoying organization that I have ever seen. They just push their agenda and if you don't agree you're a homophobe.
This story makes me glad i chose chick fil a for supper tonight
