frick him then. He hasn't proven that he can even play outside lb in the 3-4, was a rotational guy and only is expected to start because we pretty much have no better option. He must think pretty highly of himself to feel "disrespected".

I like junyah but he is absolutely a situational/rotational guy at best. Most guys with that label are in the low mil range. I say give him 2 years at 1.3 mil with a 40k signing bonus.

He's a restricted free agent, so it doesn't matter if he gets lowballed or not. The Saints would be dumb to offer him a lot of money right now. Wait and see if someone on the market wants to pay him and if so the Saints can then decide if they want to match. If not, then he plays for the lower amount.

Well then he should prove himself this year and earn a good contract. I just don't see how a back up pass rusher can feel insulted by a contract offer. He's shown potential but hasn't proven himself yet
