I guess you dont realize that at times it may be raining while the game is being played. The infield aint going to be covered at that time.

No, I'm just smart enough to realize when they are playing on it in the rain, it typically isn't raining very hard. In these situations they usually put diamond dry or another substance in the dirt to help dry it up every inning or as needed. It isn't going to become so saturated that they can't play on it all of the sudden if they have been playing through the rain and it hasn't gotten any harder.
