wait until the the sprint unlimited tomorrow night. The last few years I have started up the yahoo league and just posted the info once the Shootout thread gets started. Usually get around 20-30 people or so to join.
For anyone who wants to go ahead and join before then, it's on yahoo fantasy as always. the group is Death Valley Racing.
I believe you create your team name. Go to join a group, then private group.
The group ID number is: 14533

That seems like the best way to do it. Not many people notice here, and those that are truly interested will be in the Shootout thread anyway.

Actually, for Daytona, you can register up until the race starts. Well, techinically, you can register after Daytona as well, but you won't get points for races missed.
BUT, my point was, that you can still set your drivers after qualifying for this race. The only race that allows that.

Can someone explain the rules? Does the team i pick now the team i get all season or do i get to change it every week?

Yes, you can, and probably should, change them every week.
TEAM
Drivers are split into groups by yahoo, ABC
Each week you can set a "team" of 2_A/ 4_B/ 2_C
However, you can only start 1_A/ 2_B/ 1_C
You only get points for drivers that START
You only get 9 starts for the entire year for any one driver
DEADLINES
Usually have to set your 8 member team before qualifying, typically Thurs or Fri
Once your team is locked, you can set your 4 starters up until race starts
If you forget to change your team, your previous week's team will roll over.
One of the hardest parts is remembering to set your lineup because the season is so long
POINTS
You get points based on where your starters finish.
Winner gets 90 points, then -2 for every spot thereafter (ex: 2nd gets 88, 3rd 86, etc.)
10 bonus points for a starter that leads a lap
10 bonus points for a starter that leads the most laps
Any driver on your team can get qualifying bonus points, regardless if you start them:
10 bonus for qual 1st
5 bonus for qual 2nd
3 bonus for qual 3rd
1 bonus for qual 4th
