most student sections are behind the backboard...
what makes LSU's suck is that it is behind the backboard and the first row is about 10-15 feet from the baseline while many others are less than 5

Actual student attendance hovers between 800-1700 per game. Many, like myself, prefer to actually be able to see the game though.

People do have tests coming up. Plus the game is on tv. Also, baseball>basketball in most people's eyes and there's a baseball game tonight.
