Baton Rouge and New Orleans is another planet compared to NLA,so it different enough to get that "new experience". He may be an LSU lean. We just can't take it for granted.
not sure why he is considering Bama
3 out of 4 is probably why he is considering them

Baseball doing well, basketball on the upswing, outstanding 2013 recruiting class, new OC. So now the negatigers are all up in the 2014 recruiting threads
Just got off phone with my source, 40 minute conversation btw. Coach leaving Bama is HUGE blow.
Being from Louisiana is a slap in the face to go to Bama.
Sometimes a recruit wants to stick it in the eye of his home state
People need to understand that when kids think about leaving the state, most of the time its because they're sick and tired of Louisiana. It has nothing to do with not liking LSU. Some kids just want to expeience life elsewhere.
I wasnt a recruit but im still an example. I lived off brightside drive. Can see Tiger Stadium from the front of my neighborhood. Grew up a HUGH LSU fan (still am one). but after a year into LSU, I just wanted to see elsewhere and get awy from home. I ended up transferring. Some of these kids just want to see elsewhere and places like bama, uf, etc are just bonuses (good teams that take them elsewhere).
