Just wondering why the bassmaster classic thread got anchored? LINK It's a thread about the Bassmaster Classic fishing tournament which is being held this coming weekend & it's the biggest bass tournament in professional bass fishing.

Bad thread title... Needs to be more informative. If the OP fixes it, I'm sure the admins will unanchor it

Not really. The title is "Bassmasters Classic". Everybody with a brain can tell before clicking on the thread that it will be about the Bassmasters Classic. I don't think adding any other words will make it any clearer. Even if you titled it "This thread is about the Bassmasters Classic" the reader would not be anymore informed about what the thread contained as they are when the read "Bassmasters Classic". Short thread titles are most of the time crappy. But sometimes 1 or 2 words can portray as much info as 14 words. The anchoring of this thread is stupid. JMHO.

In Chicken's eyes, it is a bad thread title.... Something like 2013 Bassmaster Classic Discussion would have prolly been better

My 10/22 cattle drive thread got the anchor. I changed the title to anyone seen the 10/22 cattle drive, can it be unanchored now?

I see a couple threads with titles on the Rant such as LSU-TCU game , 1986 LSU final four. these seem to be the same as some of the OB threads, and just don't understand why the OB has been anchored heavily lately.
