Want to take my son camping and fishing for a few days. What does the OB say is the best place?

Drive to Mississippi river and find a sandbar. Camping on a sandbar on the river will beat a state park hands down. Plenty of catfish that are easy to catch.
If you want a park I suggest Natchez state park.

That is so true and he doesn't have to drive to Miss. He can put in at the 3 rivers and there's a big arse sand bar.
