Nope. We look like Grambling or Missouri. Stick with purple and use black as a accent color if it's necessary to use black.

Glad someone mentioned them being black. I thought they actually looked dark blue on TV. Told the wife they looked like Michigan. She thought they were butt-ugly too.

I didn't think they were terrible, but not great either. I knew they had them. Honestly when I turned on the game I just thought the camera was screwed up and made our unis look darker than they were.
Apparently we have a gray one too fwiw.

I thought the black looked ok. Not great but ok. I sure hope I never have to see that shite again though. Pisses me off. First I have to watch my team Central (BR) wear black when the color should be maroon and now this crap. Hate it with a passion.
What the hell would people say if the LSU football team cam out wearing black, green or some other color.

I don't get why people freak about black, it's not a team color for most, but it's considered a neutral color. I mean technically (and I mean VERY technically) white isn't an LSU color according to the university. Just purple and gold are listed, but no one has a problem with white. Black is just the opposite end of the spectrum.
