People always wanna say we added MO for tv markets. I get that but why didn't we look up the east coast. There are plenty of tv's in between Columbia and DC that also provide a talent pool.

I think NC and Duke would balk at the SEC, not so much the Big 10 for academic reasons.
If UVa bolts for the Big 10 and VT doesn't get an invite, then the Commonwealth's legislature will not object to VT making the move to the SEC, the question I'd have, is will they exert the pressure on UVa to stay in the ACC?

You don't know the history on Missouri. Missouri is in the SEC because the B1G didn't want them. They were spurned and had nowhere to go.

I was really hoping the SEC would add Virginia and North Carolina. I wonder if there is anyway we can lobby to get one of them for Missouri, who is utterly useless.

UNC would certainly be the first option, but if they don't want to join, then what?
I note also that is only 15 teams, who is #16?
Also would this have FSU and Clemson begging to join the Big12?
