The problem is that the few times we tried it, we wore jerseys without stripes and really awkward number shadows. If the jersey looked like a continuation of the helmet (same striping on shoulders) you'd be in business.
I agree. Actually, the first time Nike tried the gold jersey, they didn't have the number shadows and looked pretty good. They really needed the shoulder stripes though.
But yes, I would advocate all white once in awhile.

I wish we would wear the white pants and white helmet with the purple jersey once in a while also. Gold helmet and gold pants is too much color with the purple jersey

agree. one or two games a season would be a nice change. i do love our traditional unis though, but i don't think many people would complain about the all white unis

No, its actually black. The person that photo shopped it cropped out everything but the helmet then just selected around the tiger and the american flag and brought the saturation all the way down to make all light colors look white and all dark colors look black, it would have been really hard for him to select around the stripe and the facemask so he just let it change to black. Then he just inserted it back over the original picture But yes if the facemask and stripe were purple I would love it.

I like the traditional uniform, but I would like a one game switch every season or so.

At one point I did this rough shop for all yellow/gold. I think I matched the helmet rather than the pants but you get the point.

Love all the uniform suggestions mentioned so far.
All white, all gold, all purple.
Gold and purple jersey's with white pants. Must have shoulder stripes on all uni combinations though.
Only combo I don't like is our traditional home uni's. Purple jersey with gold helmets and pants are too much color.

MAKE IT STOP!! LEAVE THE MOST BEAUTIFUL UNIFORM ALONE!! Whoever came up with the all gold needs to be slapped and then banned. WHY do we need to change our uniform ever? Does Bama? No. You change your uniform in a desperate attempt to be noticed (Oregon and Maryland). I would rather we be noticed as a champion in our perfect unchanged uniform. PS. GET OFF MY LAWN!
