I did hOuse farm at first with the brown house, after I got leveled up it just put them in storage. I plan on buying more of the other houses, I just need to get more land. I'm kinda in the process of remodeling the neighborhood since they just added the wiggum house. There is still a lot of stuff I want to do and that's what's great about his game. But buying land gets very expensive
I like they way you have your houses set up, that's what I'm trying to get too. I wouldn't sell them anytime soon, you'll need the extra money because from level 20-26 everything expensive from $100000 - $210000

It's crazy how different our springfields are. Mine is majority houses and yours is majority buildings.
I see buildings such as the police station but they are locked. Says needs level 17. I'm on level 20, so what do I need to get to unlock that. Does this have anything to do with vanity ratings, tree hugger ratings, etc???
Edit. This forum explains the builds very well
Looks like I need to focus even more on getting them to do the required tasks right away. That should unlock things sooner. I've been focused on money. I do the tasks on the left, just not right away.

Yep that's the key to make them do the required tasks first, quickest way to unlock everything.

I am at level 15 now but i never created a origin account. If i create one now do i lose all of my progress?

I played all the way up to level 10 or so before I created my login. Didn't lose anything.

Click on the orange circle/hurricane looking thing. Then friends, then add friends.
Does anyone bet at springfield downs? I'm 0/3 right and now and thinking this is a stupid investment. If so what odds do you bet on? Best results?
