it would be a tragedy of catastrophic nature if the top off linemen instate ends up somewhere else especially when the head coach is a former OL himself.

I'm pretty sure this has happened numerous times to various programs that have all survived that catastrophe. Yea it would suck, but would we move on without noticing it? Yea i'm pretty sure.
