For the big games like this one, I would say so. You can stand all around the Grandstand which is a very wide area. Clearly the area in back of home plate has a larger crowd, but the baseline is a good spot to get a great view also. And usually, folks with kids generally leave after the 5th inning while they rake the field. So, you would be able to grab a seat at that point if you know they aren't coming back, etc.
