Hold on. Let me catch my breath! I'm laughing so hard I think I may "Honest" and "responsible" are two adjectives I would NOT use to describe Bobby Jindal. "Shameless" and "self-promoter" perhaps, but not honest and responsible. :rotflmao:

She wants to make LA more dependent on the government and is slimy enough to use the race card to get the black community behind her. She needs to go; however, she will probably continue to keep her position as long as she wants due to ignorant LA voters.
She's also bought-and-paid-for by the chemical/oil lobby and I'm sure we'll have some turn-coat "republicans" from St. Tammany Parish endorse her again.

Jindal needs to be bashed when it's warranted.

This. You'd swear that just because not EWE or Blanco that he should be immune from any reasonable criticism.

IMO Jindal is the only candidate that has a chance to beat Senator Landrieu. Its hard to beat an incumbent and we all know that. Thats exactly why we need term limits. Jindal's popularity has only gone down because of his education reform legislation. It will come back up in time especially as the state economy holds strong and remains better than the nation.

Candidate with the best chance to beat Landrieu is the one who can buy up all the Greyhound buses in NOLA for election day.

Landrieu is not good for LA.
She comes across to the rest of the country as a slightly more eloquent Corrine Brown.

Add Rep. Charles Boustany, R-La., to the list of potential challengers to Democratic Sen. Mary Landrieu in 2014.
This guy would cut into the white cajun/catholic vote- Mary Landrieu's strength- like no other candidate.

The odds are that Mary will be re-elected. Her base PLUS certain business interests (petrochemical, primarily) PLUS some strange bedfellow political alliances maker her tough to beat, imo. Plus, Jindal's abject "phonyism" will end up foiling any such aspirations he may have.

Another reason he'd be a stronger candidate than Jindal is he has a lot more upside. Jindal is a very well known quantity statewide so if he's losing head to head it's going to be hard for him to make up any ground. And even a popular governor doesn't necessarily take down an incumbent Senator (just look at results from other states over the years). Boustany isn't well known outside his district so he can close the deal with voters who are looking for an alternative. Landrieu can be beaten by a strong candidate. She barely wins against horrible opponents.

A quality no doubt imperceptible in Landrieu

no way in hell Boustany runs against Landrieu. It's a shot at Landry telling him to stay out. If anything he goes after Vitter's seat down the road

High ranking Republicans in the Florida Parishes will not abandon her. She's easily re-elected.

Landrieu has a narrowly positive approval rating with 47% of voters giving her good marks to 45% who disapprove.
I can believe this, but it's a soft 47. I can't remember the exact quote, but as John Breaux once said of David Duke, "if you punch him right there, his whole face will fall apart." Not comparing Landrieu to Duke, but I think the quote is in a way fitting.

You can add Louisiana to the list of states where Hillary Clinton might be competitive with a 2016 Presidential bid, at least at this stage. She has a 46/44 favorability rating in the state and has 3 points lead over Jindal (48/45) and Rubio (46/43) in hypothetical match ups. She ties Ryan at 46.
Laughable at any stage.
