Cruz is absolutely the worst demagogue I've ever seen in the Senate which is amazing when you consider the fact that he's been in office for barely a month. I can't believe Ron Paul actually endorsed this guy, since he seems to represent everything that Paul despises.

Whether you disagree with Cruz or not, the idea of a professional TV commentator drawing comparisons to McCarthy, Hitler or Satan is intellectually lazy.

What do you think of Cruz' penchant for asking do-you-still-beat-your-wife type questions and deliberately editing a video of a Hagel interview in a dishonest way in order to mislead people about Hagel's views?

Can't make a judgment because I didn't see any of it. I hate watching hearings.
The only things I know about Cruz is that National Review likes him and he was a champion debater in college.

Very McCarthy like.
But McCarthy was pro American against agents of influence in our government in his self-aggrandizing way, Cruz is an agent of AIPAC a lackey of a foreign power. McCarthy was a degenerate but a superior American.
