I knew this shite wouldn't work. Just bought these from walmart and they barely fit around the lock. As soon as I go to cut it, they slip right off. frick. Me. Running.

It was the biggest and best kind they had. I knew this would happen. Only time I've ever seen someone cut a lock before was in high school. Our big arse PE teacher would struggle with some of the smaller combination locks. No way in hell a bolt cutter is cutting thru this pad lock. The picture doesn't do it justice, this thing is on steroids.

now that's funny
And yes there are
So what do I do now? Try to find some Incredible Hulk bolt cutters at a hardware store tomorrow? I have a feeling that no type of bolt cutters are going to work with this padlock.

I have the key. There's only 1/4" space between the bottom of the lock and the truck. It's too big to rotate the lock upwards.
I'm about to call the fire department and see if they will help. There's a station half a mile from my house. I know that's dumb and they won't help (they shouldn't)....but I'm all out of options.

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt but I can't say that I've ever seen bolt cutters at walmart. That being said, I never looked for them and Stanley is huge when it comes to walmart tools.

This might sound like bull shite but I've had and continue to have a lot of experience with cutting locks off of lockers. Those cutters would have no problem cutting a lock, especially if they're new. "barely" fitting around the lock is a moot point, because they fit around the lock.
get a screwdriver or something with leverage. Rotate the lock so that the front face of the lock is perpendicular to the truck door... Then rotate the bottom of the lock upwards so that it is facing you. Unlock with key.
