Avoyelles Parish is coonass.
I'd say nothing East of the River. Not 55. Baton Rouge is redneck.

There's folks around the Honey Island Swamp that are DEFINITELY coonass... They're just in pockets.

I understood what you were saying. There is going to be pockets going North, obviously...It's just not what I would consider Cajun Country. There are probably more transplanted Coonasses in Houston than there are Coonasses in Lafayette.

Where in SELA? What is your definition of Coonass? Coonasses live all over, doesn't mean that you live in a "coonass" area.

Considering that is smack dab in the middle of Cajun country - Cajun
But pearl is and always has been outside of Cajun country.....
People living on farms in Acadia and Jeff davis parishes are cajun
People living o. Rice farms in anahuac and chambers cough texas are not....
