anyone know some of the best hotels to stay in KC? I'll be going in a couple of months so any tips of where to stay and what to do while there would be appreciated.

of course the Royals will be out of town the weekend I'll be in KC 
is there anything entertaining there other than BBQ and casinos?

They really really need an NBA/or NHL team, as you can see the district ends/begins at the Sprint Center.
The pregame and postgame parties would be epic since The Power & Light District is one of only a few places in the United States where possession and consumption of open containers of alcoholic beverages are allowed on the street.
