| Well, co-pays for us here in Bama are down (Posted on 2/14/13 at 2:51 pm)
My copay for a Dr.'s office visit dropped from $30 to $20 bucks. So I guess I personally save about 10 bucks a year in copays. Meh.

Are you essentially saying "hoorah for Obamacare"?

Well my policy got rid of copays all together . Sounds great doesnt it?? But nooooo, now i have a $2500 family deductible, even on prescriptions, so if none of us get very sick or we don't have to have any surgery then my insurance won't ever have to pay for anything..... Forward !!!!

This makes no sense whatsoever. A family copay? And $2500 bucks? I call BS

I am 36, I am against abortion, homosexuality, war, the constitution, to name a few. And I said 'meh', indicating that $10 isn't any real savings. I am the epitome of a liberal. Are you the epitome of anything?

What is hard to believe about this? I have a family policy. It has a co-pay and a deductible. Now, these terms refer to each of us (my wife and myself), so maybe you are one of those "gotcha" posters. But, the gist of the post is certainly plausible.

Well, I don't have a choice really. When you say 'worth it', do you mean my health/life, or the visit in general?

When you ONLY comment on the co-pay...you kinda sound like the guy who answers "how much does your car cost?" with: $500 per month Did your premium increase? Deductible? Coverage increase / decrease? Any change on providers? Ability to see specialists? The co-pay is the least important part

You call BS on what? My family deductible is $2500. Until i spend that much my insurance basically pays for nothing except discounts on certain generic drugs. This is with United Healthcare too, not some direct general of the medical world..... But you go ahead and call BS genius

I swear you guys are so partisan, so ready to draw a line on ideology, you can't even have a relaxed discussion with someone you perceive as 'the enemy'. The post was an obvious jab at Obamacare. I guess this is only funny if one of the 'good guys' post it.

Well I apologize. Did not know there were plans this bad out there. What was your deductible 4 years ago?

I am not opposed to anyone or their ideology. I may have a different one. But, I try to "defend" both 'sides'. I am asking for more info. You left out a lot.

Again...i am confused by your take. My deductible is even higher. It keeps my premium down and I only WANTED catastrophic coverage. I'm willing to pay for mundane "sick" visits
