They said they are busing people to n.o. Because the airport can handle people who need to fly out. Others can go straight to Galveston if that's where they need to go.

Passenger on CNN: Things have magically been cleaned up before coming into port. Patio furniture is lined up. Steak and lobster is being served. Toilets are working. Carnival CEO was on board via USCG vessel.

No it was my understanding that the chartered flights are leaving from n.o. The airport there can't handle the people. It's just that people have the option to get bused if they choose.
