You gotta build your clan castle first (the rubble building) which cost like 40k gold.
So in other words build up your gold/elixir storage to hold the 50k and then build clan castle. Then you can search clans and find

Just wait, at least you have a 3 day shield. You can actually upgrade everything you need to get the castle in those 3 days.
build and upgrade gold storage/elixir
Upgrade TH so you can be running 3 of each
Do goblin missions for extra gold/elixir
Wouldn't even worry about walls/mortar until you have clan castle

I'll join up. When it's intertigerdroppings conflict it's war. But Tigerdroppings against the world, time for peace. Game is addicting though

I've been wrecking shop with my attack using 3 Healers and 15 Giants.
Or I use a combo of archers, goblins, and distract the defenses with giants.

Yes, if you don't place them you keep them.
Early on you can raid pretty decent with balloons on people that don't have air defense. Just make like 15 balloons and wreck shop.
Right now (level 40) I like to make 120-150 level 4 archers with a few giants, goblins, and wall breakers, and target people with overfilled mines and elixer pumps, rather than wiping out whole bases. I noticed around 1250 ther's a LOT of level 70+ lurkers that appear to feast on the guys getting to that level of trophies for the gem bonus. Much safer around 1k trophies.

I'm beginning to figure this out the hard way.....I might need to drop trophy level so that I'm not getting wrecked at night when i'm asleep.
