One of the neat things about Mardi Gras in New Orleans is that it has changed with the times, some organizations fall by the wayside and new ones rise to take their place.....
I'm in my early 60's and hope I'm around long enough to see the full coming of age of the people who moved to NOLA post-Katrina to make a difference.....then you will understand what I'm talking about....

One of the neat things about Mardi Gras is that it's kept and preserved it's history. There's a place for new and old line krewes. I don't see why you have it out for the old organizations. You sound extremely jealous.

I think they will have a great impact on the city and am.happy they are here, but if you think that krewes like rex and comus will let someone who.moved to nola post katrina to be the reason theu change their ways, you are going to die dissapointed.
but I.do.like what the post katrina people are doing to help the city
