Alright folks.. here is the peanut butter roux gumbo (with PICS)(Posted by TIGRLEE on 2/11/13 at 7:37 pm)
Didnt have much to do today so I decided to make a gumbo. I bought a roteisseri chicken, deboned it and cooked bones in with the trinity for 2 hours little salt, pepper, garlic, tonys... thats about it. I season by taste so I dont have measurements.

Same here. I know there are debates about what is considered a gumbo (especially with that okra fanatic). But can i safely say that adding peanut butter might be a good way to discount this as a gumbo?
