Don't have a quote, but I think he has said something to the effect he doesn't want to be a head coach. I don't blame him, it's not for everyone, and if you are getting paid top dollar as a coordinator, have a good reputation, why ruin it??

Frank seems like a HC in the making, but his career path isn't moving at the rate of most "rising stars." He's 40 and he's still just a positional coach. He could get tabbed for a small school job soon, but after the massive fail job of Larry Porter, would he be comfortable making that leap? Does he even have those aspirations? He's never really even been in talks to become a coordinator, it doesn't seem, either.
