I learned that Goku can't beat Superman  he'd probably whoop everyone except for Phoenix, who would probably give him a good fight.
But to bring up one more point about Gohan: he's been both the best character and the biggest bitch in the entire series

I think so. Goku's power is pretty much god-like. At his greatest strength, he could blow up a planet with ease. Professor X or any other mind control mutant might have given him trouble though. He would either have to strike quickly before Professor X knew what's going on, or he would need to have that helmet that stops people's minds from being controled.
