Trust me it is actually apparent... Why does the recruiting board need an IM thread? The OT/SECr gets one because of plethora of posters who, well IM all day.
The recruiting board doesn't have enough activity as others have stated and what would y'all discuss? The next 15 year old to start following via twitter?
Just participate in one of the other two and become sociable with the board.

This is pretty funny considering it's my understanding the SEC Rant was initially created to keep the trolls and flamers off the Tiger Rant.
It worked so well that it broke off as an independent website and now posters are blaming it for problems on tigerdroppings.

Why is an active board a prerequisite for a random thread like that? I'm a participant on many boards to begin with. You would think something spurring greater activity on the RB would be a good thing.

If every board started doing the same thing, what would be the point if having multiple boards?
People want separate boards for every subject. But then they want that board to have a GMT, lunch, music, drinking, and LNST. Go to the OT for that.
