I just got my AMEX bonus points in...$250 Brooks Brothers gift card. By far the best returned value on their site as far as gift cards.
Also, paid off some lunches on my balance with the balance of points.
I was never spending enough to get 100,000 points or whatever. Got the gift card I wanted so I'm happy.

I traded in for Home Depot gift card for a new washer/dryer for my first house a decade ago.
Traded them in for new laminate floors with Home Depot gift card a couple of years ago.
I like to stockpile them and buy something lasting.

7 $50 gift cards to Lowe's (42k points) on my Citi Forward card. We just bought a home and will put cards towards paint/washer/dryer.
Baby on the way and probably holding off with my amazon points. Have $670 built on that. Probably will have around $900 to $1000 come October that I'll probably use buying baby stuff while the wife is taking time off. It's much in the grand scheme of things, but it's better than nothing.

Yeah, I looked and didn't see I could get any decent flights for 30000 points. It seemed like all I was getting was $140 toward a flight

That's the most I've ever payed for a flight... All the other flights were 25k including my BCS MNC flight

I find it silly to use it on gift cards/vacations so I usually do cash back. When I was using it on work expenses I was getting over $500 a year

Super silly to use $40 of rewards to get a $50 gift card rather than just get $40 cash back.

Chase advertises $400 cash back or $500 towards a flight... I am going to pick the flight 9 times out of 10
But I don't have a chase card... Just used it as an example

My options were $90 cash or a $250 gift card. I think the money I would have eventually spent on clothes, to get almost triple cash value was worth it.

Just used up my USAA card rewards as I've switched to Captial One
I had a enough points for $420 off a flight so I booked two tickets to India for $820 a piece and took $420 off that.
Can't wait to rack up the Cap One points. All I really want to do in life is travel.
