Never happened as far as I know. Got Barksdale from Michigan, but we dont venture too far north in most cases

Shaq was born in New Jersey, but played HS ball in San Antonio, if I remember correctly.

Probably not our first, but maybe first in a while. I know Barrington Edwards was from Maryland, back in the day.

Bernard Woodside. Basketball great. Hempstead, NY is close enough to New Jersey.

Craig Norris late 80's DT was from NY and Jay Egloff was from PA (granted he was in wrestling and moved to FB when LSU canned it).
