The problem for the GOP is not Obama or the Democrats. The problem is within the GOP. This goes back to the GOP being over focused on Obama and constantly demonizing him. Personally, I think McCain's selection of Palin and her rhetoric doomed the GOP for years to come. If the GOP really wants to get strong again they need to stop listening to Rush and all his wannabe's. When you think of the GOP you think of a whole bunch of loud mouth crazies making money off pushing people's emotional buttons. The Dems don't have this problem except for the Union influence that is weakening each year.

The problem with the GOP is listening to like idiots to people like you. They have moved away from what made them strong in the name of "getting along, being nice" only to have the democrats at every single turn label who ever the party nominates as out of touch.
John McCain and Mitt Romney both we very centrists in their views and careers, but to hear democrats talk you would think they were to the right of Attila the Hun (or Limbaugh).
What the GOP needs to do is go back to its roots, nominate true conservatives, articulate what that means, and win.

Exactly. It is a really old and tired approach. Democrats blast Republicans for being conservative and they nominate a moderate. Then, they destroy the moderates for not being a Democrat.

Yep. And that phuckard loser Rove is part of the problem. Yeah the Tea Party movement has given us shite heads like Akin, O'Donnell and the other chick from NV who couldn't beat Reid. But compared to Rove's pathetic record the Tea Party has a muuuuuch better track record of actually winning seats.
The establishment GOP (Boehner, McConnell, Rove, Bushs, et al) have got to go. They are the bane of the conservative movement. They might as well join the dems because they really don't care about spending and debt. They just want to be the party in power to dole out the fruits of our labor on their own pet programs.

Bad candidates are bad candidates regardless of ideology. O Donnell and others were bad candidates. Murdock WAS a statewide elected official... until he opened his mouth. Idiot.

The GOP has been trying to engage barry on an intellectual level trying to counter barry and the left like a college debate team.
The GOP has failed to realize barry & the left is nothing more than two bit-bit street thugs.
Plus add to the fact that the GOP has taken the 'lets not criticize the negro president, after all slavery, we be's oppressed blah blah blah...
Romney was a pathetic candidate as was McCain. They tried to act like gentlemen when they were dealing with a hoodlum.
barry was treated with kid gloves and is still treated with kid gloves because he is the 'first negro president so don't criticize him...' mentality.
If the GOP doesn't get someone with shrewd intellect and a bulldog mentality that is go after barry like a MMA fighter, we will get another 4 year disaster like barry.

As long are they exclude those people from the equation, they will never win again.
