I think Paul found a correlation between the incident and his view on aggressive government intervention in foreign affairs.
Just speculation though.

Ooh, so the most famous sniper in U.S. history was about to lose a defamation case (which would look pretty bad for Team USA) and then, all of a sudden, he dies?
Just thought some people could build up on that and make it into a big conspiracy.

I don't know if he was about to lose or not. Jesse Ventura was suing him, claiming that Kyle made up a bar fight story about him.
Just wanted to get a conspiracy theory going for my own entertainment.
