That would be the limit. Clearly not everyone would reach that. Just like not everyone kills 6 deer per season or whatever it is. Pick any number you want. The point is it doesn't restrict the amount of time I can hunt, while still decreasing the amount of birds killed. If the limit is 60 birds per season then you can effectively hunt everyday and only kill 1 as opposed to killing 2 a day for 30. Pick any numbers you want as long as the math adds up. The point is...weekend hunters get to hunt more.
I agree with your comments. I hunt both public and private during the season. Probably averaging 25 hunts a year. As a recent college graduate I have realized that work greatly reduces the amount of time you get to spend in the duck blind
Would you see the same results (less people on WMA's, cheaper leases) with 2/45? Why not that as opposed to 3/30?
Also, does that mean lease prices are cut in half if the season is only half as long? Serious question. As I said I'm only accustomed to 6/60.
