When I worked in Salinas, Ca at the hospital on a traveling contract they made my wife and I leave work in enough time each day to get back to the main highway/where we were staying in Monterey before dark. Those Mexican gang kids did not fricking play at all. They would even look for ways into the hospital to finish what started with a previous shooting days after the event. I guess they were continuing beefs that they already had in Mexico. What was so crazy is that most of the shootings would happen on public streets/corners/etc in relatively busy areas and often in the afternoon.

I have no doubt whites and Hispanics in prisons probably have a mutual interest in an alliance for opposition to the Black prison population, but to suggest this has spilled out to the general population of Hispanics is silly.

Buddy...do you watch boxing? If so, you'd note just how TENATIOUS and dedicated them Mexican fellas are. And I doubt there has ever been a more violent and ruthless gang culture on the face of this earth. And that culture has melded with the Government authority down there; they virtually run the show in a lot of the country. You know of many blacks vacationing in Mexico?
And in relation to Whites, who mostly don't give a crap about 'racial' allegiances, other than a handful of Aryan halfwits...both Blacks and Latinos flat out DO. Their racial heritage and allegiance means a lot. As does their family re the Lats; a good thing which gives me hope.
If the economy were to implode...I can guarantee you there would not be Black/Latino composite gangs roaming the country. Of course, that is just an 'opinion'...like your assertion that my points are "nonsense".
I just cut to the chase buddy, and leave the verbal etiquette to those more learned on the board. And I'm always up for a well-argued rebuke, where I'll gladly repent and apologize.

The funny thing is that, genetically speaking, the difference between 'Latinos' and American blacks is that Latinos have significantly more indigenous American genes. Otherwise it's mostly European/African in wildly varying proportions.

Let's see how many conclusions we can jump to, shall we?
It means that we would be considering 'Latinos' black people if they didn't have American Indian genes in them. There is little genetic difference, and most of the differences are cultural not genetic.
As a matter of fact, there is very little genetic evidence to support our current notions of 'Race'. There is for more genetic variablility between two individuals of what we consider the same 'race' as there are between 'races'.
In short, there is no such thing as 'race'. Sorry, Carrollton.

My wife is Mexican (no pics sorry hah), she was the 1st one born in the US in her family. I can tell you that when we go back to Vegas and Mexico for family functions, a good majority of Mexicans just don't like blacks.
Puerto Ricans and Cubans too for that matter haha.

That is absurd. The fact that some Latin countries had considerable Negro slave intermarriage, doesn't mean all or most Latinos have Negro Blood.

Probably no exact universally accepted definition, but the concept of race does exist, legally (we give some races quotas for being extra at risk) socially, and scientifically, it is a functional classification.
