Made at least 8 trips to BR area walmarts sunday and monday, and not one round was found

Siegen Wal Mart in Baton Rouge had 5.56 yesterday for 12.27 a box.

Oneal Walmart was empty this morning. I am done running around looking for ammo all over. If I happen to be driving by Academy or am going to WMT then I'll check it out.
UPS just delivered me 2100 rounds of 22lr.

22lr is the hardest to find. I ordered 1000 from Cabelas two weeks ago with a 9 week wait.

I have a funny Wal Mart ammo story.
So my nephew is getting a rifle for Christmas and I was going to buy some rounds for it. I go to the counter and tell the guy what I need and he turns around and starts to get it. while he is doing that, I call my wife and ask how many boxes I should get him. when I hang up, the salesman says he can't sell me these becasue I'm not getting them for myself. Tells me it's the law.
So after a little unfruitful arguing by me I ask "so the only way for my 12 year old nephew to get ammo is to come in here and buy it himself?"
The guys stutters for a second and says "well if he was here with you it would be okay."
Anyway, I wen to Dicks and got it off of the shelf.
Is that really "the law" or just some Wal Mart policy.

or did have 3 375 rd packs in stock 1/2 an hour ago

It's neither, Walmarx is just notorious for not giving a frick about shooters and not really caring to sell them anything anyway. Should have asked for the manager and then the posted sign saying they would not sell.
