@dawncatherine I appreciate you! I agree that Trayvon Martin was a dangerous thug who needed to be put down like a rabid dog.

So here's what I just learned. Because Trayvon Martin was black, I can't tell a joke about how he was an admitted drug user. Interesting!

Yes I know the vast majority of Republicans are not or does not consider themselves racists. And one idiot does not represent the entire Republican party. But the Republican party attracts a significant racist fringe element that is embarrassing the entire party. Unless the party wants to move forward, the Republicans need to figure out a way to get rid of them. These tweets are a perfect example of what not to do. Instead of denouncing this idiot, the Republicans are being quiet and letting the Democrats define him as the entire Republican party. The Republicans should have been the first people to criticize him and kick him out of the party.

Blame Nixon. He brought the republican party south when it was thriving like never before among northern states. This is what happens when you attract people from below the mason dixon line into your party.

Can't tell if you're trolling or not, but this should be very good.

You must never watch Jessie Jackson, Spike Lee, Al Sharpton, Jamie Fox??? There are racist in both parties. I work with some black men and there is no subject that isn't filtered through their race glasses.

Invite them to TD.com. They'd fit right in.

This is just as stereotypical as any comment based solely on race. 1- How do we know these tweets are real? 2- If real, isn't he the former head of the group? Why would the Republicans respond?

This is such crap. The dim party rallies around every little brain fart to slip out of their most vile of representatives but the republicans should denounce someone who formerly represented a portion of their party? liberalforum.org

Hmmmm. Why don't they do that? Why don't Republican leaders stand up and tell their constituents Obama (the democratically elected President of the United Freaking States) is an American citizen ? Why don't more Republicans leaders say something when people like Todd Akin speak? Why don't republicans say anything when Rush Limbaugh opens his hole?

Completely ignoring Obama is a shady dude, I'm gonna say it isn't the republican parties responsibility to manage Obama's image. The media handles that. Re Todd Akin: Probably for the same reason most dims don't get all apologetic when the best and the brightest among them run around talking about gay is genetic. Not their job. Why does Rush offend you so much? Do you get equally offended by Ed Schultz? Ed Schultz advocates violence, and that's okay. Rush called your homegirl a slut and the entire country was appalled. The lefts feigned disgust with Rush is, well, disgusting. **edit** I personally heard audio of Ed Schultz gushing while describing the beheading of Tea Party members. Can't locate a link atm but will try again after work.

Sarah is white and a righty, and Bill and Jamie are two of their own, who if they called them out on principle might make their own arguments of holding the moral high ground seem pretty hypocritical or weak?

Republican party attracts a significant racist fringe element that is embarrassing the entire party. Unless the party wants to move forward, the Republicans need to figure out a way to get rid of them. And the Dem Party OBAMA don't! Wright, Farrakhan and "the police acted stupidly" OBAMA! Obama harbors more racist sentiments that 80% of true Conservatives. There is 10-15% of your "fringe" that are going racist BECAUSE of Obama. Obama gives blacks a black eye when it comes to racism. One they may well deserve...since they vote color 95% of the time. Blacks and the Dem Party have ZERO CRED in calling out ANYBODY on racism. All that remains is for Wright's "chickens to come home to roost". It won't be the chickens he thinks though. Ugly stuff! Live and learn.
