I swear this thing eats brake pads. City driving, small hilly conditions.
I'm open to paying a little more for a better product if it's worth it.
I'm pretty handy and would love to do this myself just for adventure but I don't have alot of time. Can I expect to get the front done one evening and the back the next? Any tips on getting air out of the lines?

You can't go wrong with a set of Callahan Brake Pads.
Best I've ever owned... and they have one hell of a warranty.

Ceramic pads if you want them to last longer, semi metallics for the best emergency braking. Check out summit racing for some brands like Hawk, EBC, etc
Rotors are a cinch to change once the calipers are off unless you live in the rust belt. Depending on year, may need a 3/8 hex (allen) socket to get caliper off, or a TORX bit like my 2005. Shouldn't be air in the lines unless you change the brake lines or calipers. Still a good idea to change the fluid since its hygroscopic. A helper is nice to bleed the breaks.
Rears can be a little longer if it has disks, b/c of the drum in hat for the parking brake. If just drums on the back, they can take a while to back off the adjusters if you've never done it or turn it the wrong way.
If this is your dd, best to do it on a weekend if you havn't done it before. Could also practice at one of the local pick a parts.

Avoid those slotted, drilled rotors. they crack

One thing about Callahan brake pads is that there is no guarantee on the box. But then again, I can get a good look at a T-bone by sticking my head up a bull's ass, but I'd rather take a butcher's word for it.

The slots are there to dissipate heat.
They look cool though, so there's that.

Thanks for the info. It's an 07. Discs in rear also.
It's loud and nasty sounding - it is a dd and I'd hate to push it to the weekend. The initial visual doesn't appear to show the rotors jacked up so I may get lucky with a front pad swap.

Just get the mid-grade pads at Auto zone. They have worked fine on everything from my old lifted Tacoma on 35s to my F250. The ceramics have a lifetime warranty on them though, so you can consider them
Pull pads, calipers, and rotors. Get rotors turned, put back on, put calipers back on, and put pads back in. You don't have to take calipers loose from hoses, just wire or hang them on the upper control arm.
Also a good time to check tie rods and ball joints and bearings. Get down there and check everything out
