The Lady Tigers take on TAMU tonight in the PMAC during ESPN's Big Monday. Should be a great matchup that includes the emotional return of long time LSU assistant, Bob Starkey. I have much love for coach Starkey but, I hope Nikki and the Lady Tigers send them back to College Station with an L. The matchup between Plaisance and Bone should be something special! Here's a preview....................

The highly anticipated "Home week from Hell" begins tonight...Aggies...then a wounded Tennessee team...then a Georgia team that beat UK on the road. By next Monday, I think we will all know about where this season is headed.
Starkey on the other bench will be a bizarre sight tonight.

This will indeed be a "gauntlet". However the Lady Tigers have been playing better lately...............especially defensively. So, I won't be surprised if they win tonight and / or one of the next two.

Team seems to play to level of competition which is good for next 3 games. If we can win 2 that's great, 1 is ok and 0-3 is not good and means NCAA is long shot. I like us to win at least 1.

The Lady Tigers started off slowly offensively but, they've crawled back to make it a close game. Once Derryall Youngblood was inserted, she essentially shut down the paint on the defensive end.

Yea, Lutley's not having a good game here at all.
But the Lady Tigers are hangin' in there. Certainly a chance to win this game.

Baker and Ballard need to be on the floor, the freshman are actually doing better then the upperclassmen

Well, thus far the battle between the two centers hasn't materialized. Plaisance is having a horrible game and Bone has been out most of the first half with foul trouble. LSU has 13 turnovers..............which isn't a big surprise with this year's team....................but they're actually doing a good job on the defensive end. Much of TAMU's scoring has been off of LSU turnovers. If LSU can cut down on the turnovers, they've got a VERY good chance of pulling this out.
