If this is true, holy shite.
Instead, it says, an “informed, high-level” official of the U.S. government may determine that the targeted American has been “recently” involved in “activities” posing a threat of a violent attack and “there is no evidence suggesting that he has renounced or abandoned such activities.” The memo does not define “recently” or “activities.”

im sorry but anyone fighting against our military despite being an American citizen is one of the biggest middle fingers someone can do to America and therefore deserves no rights carried with our citizenship.

Well that's great, but that is not what this is about.
These are the rules Obama used to assassinate Anwar Al-Alwaki and his son and nephew in Yemen. They were going to a barbecue. Hardly a battlefield.

Well fortunately, an intelligence group doesn't have the legal authority to determine if a person is a member of a terrorist group in a non-combat area. Courts do.
