I had a cat that tore through coons on the reg. had a plumber come to wrap and check pipes under house. He found several coon skeletons, some snake, squirrel and possum skeletons also.

Had a 55 lb female pit bull take one out. Didn't have a scratch on her I couldn't believe it. She also caught 17 birds (that's just the ones I saw). That was one fast and strong bitch. Man I miss that dog.

Seen coon hounds do it many many times. Seen a feist vs a sow coon about her same size. They went toe to toe like you wouldn't believe til the hounds got there to help. Little bitch wasn't backing off and wouldve won eventually but that coon cut her up.

The female boxer that I had growing up took out a couple coons. She practiced on a few possums before the coons came along though. She would grab the creatures by the neck and snap it really quickly. It was something to see.
