| Is there a city that gets more love than New Orleans? (Posted on 2/3/13 at 1:48 pm)
It seems like whenever an event goes to New Orleans, the tv shows always rave about the culture, food, etc.
I can't think of any other city where the tv shows really play up the culture and style of the city and celebrate it.
Whether its the BCSNCG or the Final Four, or the Super Bowl, they always rave about the city. I wonder if people from around the country get tired of it?

Miami, Los Angeles, and NYC are pretty celebrated off the top of my head
the NFL is going to be jacking off on itself next year. it's going to make it seem like anything nola-centric was ignored this year

New Orleans is a world class city but it isn't the only city with world class food and culture. NYC, San Fran, Boston to name a few

yeah, but it's different. Every song played as an intro or outro to the sports shows are either some kind of jazz or brass band music. They decorate the sets with wrought iron, street lamps, beads, etc.
What would they do for NY or LA?

I'd throw new York, Miami, San Francisco, San Diego up there for other cities who have a ton of character and great restaurants.
There are plenty of cities like Chicago, LA, Dallas, Atlanta that have great restaurants and more amenities than new Orleans does but they're all kind of similar to me...

I think you misunderstand me. It doesn't bother me because I'm from New Orleans.
I was just wondering if other people around he country get turned off by it since its the same thing whenever an event takes place there.
