Ade is too inconsistent and Defoe takes a shot at goal any time he touches the ball. I don't dislike either of them, but if this team were to get a better striker then the offense would be even more top tier considering our midfield options.

With a top to bottom listless effort that Spurs showed today it's going to be impossible for any striker to be successfull for them. I swear it looked like the whole team free based Valium before kickoff. Maybe it was a midweek let down...maybe.

Lennon went from possible man of the match against man u to all out crap. Defoe was just awful. Dempsey just kinda disappeared. Parker hasn't found his form yet.
On the bright side, Holtby was impressive while on the pitch.

Holtby did show some life when he came on. I really hope it was one of those ehhh kinda performances. Hell even Lloris looked asleep. If we get another snoozer against WB this weekend I will be concerned.

The Damiao deal is dead. Hooper is not available. Maybe we somehow get Son Heung-Min... This has been terrible. At least we got Holtby earlier, who looked very promising yesterday.

Yeah this is a real test for Spurs. If they can throw up a first half goal then I could see them putting up 2-3. Otherwise this will turn into a WBA counter attack show.
