The officer was a pecker no doubt. However, it always makes me cringe when I see these young Soldiers announcing their military status as if it immediately entitles them to special considerations and treatment.

I get your point - but, I'd think it also would add some credibility in tense situations, to be able to say, yes, I'm a soldier, so I'm not overreacting here....
What special consideration or treatment was this kid asking for here? He'd done nothing wrong - he called the police because he felt threatened....

Kid was being confrontational with a police officer. I don't blame the cop.
Only thing that annoys me though is when the cop decided to get physical the kid should be able to punch him in his face. Dude would be in jail now though if he had.

Kid was complaining because it took 45 minutes for the police to respond. How in the hell is that confrontational? Watch the video - the cop clearly gets in the kid's face, solely because the kid pointed out the slow response.
