At some point it will start looking like Italy and Greece. There is just too much debt. Because we cannot make smaller sacrifices now we will have to make big ones later. Obama will get to say it didn't happen under his watch. Similar to how Clinton trumpets his great record. Though under him Technology and Housing Sectors heated up, terrorists plots grew and grew and fraud at Enron and others were waiting to explode.

Jessie Jackson said today the government should confiscate the 6 trillion dollars in private pension funds. You know as well as I do......if the government can figure out how to get their hands on 401k's they will.

Just wait till all these Roth 401K and IRA retirees start hitting. Government gonna freak out. I imagine national sales tax or something similar.

Better than ever before in our history. The media will tell us that anyway.

That brings up another great point.......how will historians reflect on Obama's presidency? I'm sure he will be in the top 10.

Silly billy, that was to get elected. What shape do I see America in in 4 years? Hmm, clouded this country's future is. I can see multiple potential states we will find ourselves in. 1) The worst possible state we will find ourselves in is in a country that breaks apart because of insolvency, heavy handed authoritarian rule as part of the takeover, and a country divided by secession. 2) a country still kicking the can, but I don't see how that is even possibly. 3) a country in name only, teetering on financial collapse. 4) at war, perhaps a world war because of severe global economic conditions, and a war in this country as well, be it a civil war or an alliance to collect on resources owed. God I hope not. 5) hyper inflation causes a very heavy handed approach on people in this country and causes a shake up in the government. 6) we end up far to the left and still, teetering on economic collapse. I couldn't tell you, but I do feel strongly that no matter what happens, you won't recognize it, not unless we can hold on for two years and take this congress back completely and stonewall this sonofagun. I, however don't see that happening either, so it causes me to face the worst. This will not be received too well, but I don't care. This may very well be the last POTUS. He's damned and determined to sink this ship and doesn't seem to be the least bit concerned about it, which makes me believe that it's almost as if by design to achieve some new world order.

You mean "sore" like it's hurting? I know this has got to be a spelling mistake. Your 401k is going up, but so are the prices of housing, gas, oranges, steak, eggs, whatever else you eat, and all of this has consequences. Best of luck to you.

We will have 10% unemployment, high inflation due to printing paper money to cover Obama's debt, manufacturing jobs will be going MORE overseas/Mexico,etc., unions will be collapsing city gov'ts into bankruptcy, public schools will be in the toilet. maybe a move to split and divide the country into Red or Blue states, maybe a financial civil war, and we will very much be like Greece and European Socialism/Communism, if we're not divided into 2 countries.
