A simple Google search for Jerome McCorry reveals that the man trying to tell the public what weapons they should be allowed to own is a convicted felon.

He is listed as 6ft 280lbs. I'm sure a woman has a chance without a firearm.

A total gun ban wouldn't do a rapist any good anyway. There would still be women out there who would have guns illegally and be willing to use them.
(How stupid does that sound?!? I can't believe I just typed that!)
One convicted felon hardly constitutes the face of anti-gun activists. (Or, possibly, just maybe, he was completely rehabilitated by our penal system and now recognizes the error of his previous ways. But probably not!)

He constitutes one of the faces if he puts himself into that position and others help prop him up. As far as Ohio is concerned he is one of the faces for anti-gun activists.

I guess that would depend upon what definition of assault weapon you use. The 2A is not absolute. People can't just have whatever arms they want. With that said, I don't have a problem with ARs, although it wouldn't much bother me if people only can put 10-20 rounds in them as opposed to 30.
