we've worn purple hats, white hats, black hats, green hats for st. patricks and grey hats
is it odd that as far as I can recall we've never worn yellow hats?
have i missed a time when we did?

Anyone else liked our Russell unis better than the Nike one's we had, specifically when it comes to the white unis?
The logo and numbering didn't look as cheap.
For example...

White with "Tigers" across the chest

In both those examples I prefer the nike. I dont like black in our uniforms and I dont like shadows on numbers.

I hope we never change from the purple hats, though I think I like the 90's hats better.
I'd say Gold jerseys are my favorite, though I have never been to a Sunday game before.

Those throwbacks are sweet.
They should wear those for a few midweek games.
I would say for a couple Sunday games, but the Tigers must wear Gold on Sunday.

other than being stitched differently, nothing. really nothing has changed since the early 90s, and the only difference then was the "LSU" was gold with white outline, and it changed around 93/94 to white letters with gold outline. back when or hats were made by pro-line, the stitching was flat. then we moved to Top of the World, then to New Era, and now to Nike. The stitching of our since leaving pro-line has the logo raised up a little bit. outside minor changes and disregarding alternate hats, our basic purple hat hasn't changed in probably 30 years

Yeah, I guess I missed some of the minor stitching details. As long as they ALWAYS keep the interlocking block letters. GEAUX font can GEAUX!

We wore the throwbacks in 1993 against Tulane in the "Turn Back the Clock Game" and in 2008 for 3 games I believe.
