I can go sit in a stand with a 30-06 anytime I want during daylight hours and hunt hogs?

You don't have to be in a stand. You can sit flat on the ground!

Thanks for clearing that up. My fishing money I had set aside for monday just got spent so i may go try and shoot some hogs instead

Yes
I think you must have a big game license to do this. I always have a big game license so I have never made for sure this was a law but I think it is.

Can't you hunt them at night as well? Or is that only once deer season ends?

if on private property, yes.
On public land, must do it within a hunting season, with weapons useable for that season. So, once bowseaon opens, you can bowhunt them from Oct. 1-Jan. 31 or Feb. 15 in some areas. During squirrel/Rabbit seasons, you an use a .22 the whole time to kill hogs.
