I played this back in my WoW days. Was a good option if I only had like 20 minutes to burn and didn't want to get stuck in an instance.

But back to the op, LOL is the tits... for the most part. The community can get irritating but its also a staple of the game. And yes, plenty of people play this- I believe the number is nearing 60 million worldwide. If you need any suggestions about champs or strategy just ask.
