Still haven't been, but I don't think I'll like the heady crowd that Austin supposedly carries with it. I follow their red dirt/TX country scene pretty closely though, hopefully there will be enough normal people there that we can enjoy it

Regular boots/medium work boots are Red Wing ropers.
Real work boots are Red Wing lace-ups. Briars took a toll on those, so I am gonna get some custom White's or Wesco lace-ups. Those are all business. Can't really beat a lace up for hard working boots.
Jeans are typically Levi's. The boot cut for regular days and 505s for working. I also wear both Carhartt double front and Filson Tin Cloth pants in the woods.

Never understood grown men wearing cowboy boots as a fashion statement, looks dumb as fvck to me personally, especially when none of you are hopping on a steer later.
But, to each his own. I know I got some stuff I wear that I'm sure people think looks idiotic. I like it though  .
