(Posted on 1/30/13 at 12:56 am to PokerChamp21) Teams don't send rookies like Miller to the d league so they'll come back up ready to play. They send them there because they can't get on the court in the NBA and they want to get them some playing time. When they come back to the league, they usually go right back to the end of the bench.

Also, there are other reasons to bring Miller back than to play him a ton of minutes. And, there, he played. Why must everything that does not deliver instant gratification merit instant vilification from some? It gets old.
