Why did he cc Rahm? He should have addressed the letter to Rahm since he directed comments to him. Basic business writing. This is a US Senator. frick. Otherwise, good for him.

That "cc: Mayor Rahm Emanuel" stands out pretty stark against the rest of that letter, so I'm sure it was for the visual effect, if not just pure "in your face."
If you're bemoaning a lack of decorum, then sure... maybe. But decorum toward a piece of shite like Emanuel isn't high on most Texans' list, so bravo, Ted Cruz.

IMO, his remarks were directed enough to Emanuel to address him. But the the majority of his letter was to the banks/gun-makers. Not a huge deal though.
I like Cruz, alot.

I'm bemoaning the fact that a US Senator's office doesn't know what cc means. It makes him look incompetent, which distracts the reader from his message.

Oh look... He learned to use his new stationary and free postage to write useless letters he shares with right wing wacko blogs to placate his base and show Texans voted for a real man!
Later he was 1 of 3 Senators to vote against Kerry's nomination.
Looks like he's getting off a great start doing things for Texas!
